Pittsburgh Earth Day is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, inspiring, and celebrating sustainability in the region. Honoring the transformation from Pittsburgh’s Steel City past to a thriving home for green innovation, LEED-certified development, farm to table initiatives and environmentally-friendly events, Pittsburgh Earth Day honors the collaboration of businesses, community organizations and green purveyors that are changing the landscape of our region. Thank you to everyone who will be joining us at the 2021 celebration.
The Green Voice
As the official voice of Pittsburgh Earth Day, The Green Voice is a blog and weekly newsletter offering stories of green innovation, advice on how to live more sustainably, and information on events and festivals happening in your community (virtual and in-person).
Sustainable Business Breakfast
It's easy to say we are going to commit to being a sustainable business, but what does it take to put this commitment into action? This year, Pittsburgh's top leaders in corporate and community sustainability will discuss what it takes to implement sustainable practices and how to connect to global sustainability goals. Local business leaders will talk about ways, both large and small, that they are transforming their companies and communities into shining examples of sustainability — and ways in which they hope to improve.
